Sulphur Springs Pickleball Classic
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced divisions with a DUPR combined cap of 8.25. Senior divisions (50-60, and 60 and up). Doubles and mixed doubles.

We will be entering all matches to DUPR. You do not have to have a DUPR score to enter, but you'll need to sign up for DUPR before the tournament. If you do not have a DUPR, simply go to DUPR.com and sign up. Its free!
Beginner's division is for players with a DUPR < 3. Intermediate is for players around 3-3.5. Advanced is for players above the 3.5 mark. Final division determination will be determined by the number of entries. We will have a combined DUPR cap of 8.25 in the advanced division. Seniors will be divided into an upper and lower division by age, with an expected division at age 60. The upper seniors division (>60) is combined gender.
Bracket times are listed under the tab. However, these are subject to change before the tournament date. We will make announcements to all registrants if we have to change bracket times/days.
There will be 8 teams per division. Play will be two pools of 4 for seeding. All teams will enter a single elimination bracket. Games will be to 11, win by 2, hard stop at 13. Medal matches will be best 2 out of 3. Tiebrakers for seeding will be determined by the Fluidpb app. Everyone will get a minimum of 4 games.
Winners will get medals (1st, 2nd, 3rd), and we are planning cool prizes as well (paddles, bags, gift sets)!
All players who enter by March 28th will get a swag bag with t-shirt! Specify size on registration. One t-shirt per player, but you can purchase more if you would like! **If you sign up for more than one division, do NOT select a second shirt unless you would like to purchase another one.
We will be playing with Franklin X-40 balls (subject to change).
Cancellations prior to March 28th will receive a refund minus $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations after this date do not receive a refund.
We will have food/beverages on site for purchase. Water will be provided.
