1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge that participation in pickleball involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: slips, trips, falls, collisions with other participants, being struck by balls or paddles, dehydration, and other risks that may result in injury, illness, or death. I voluntarily choose to participate and assume all such risks, whether known or unknown.

2. Release and Waiver

In consideration for being allowed to participate in this event, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless the event hosts, organizers, volunteers, sponsors, venue owners, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liability arising out of or related to my participation in the event, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and defend the event organizers, hosts, sponsors, and venue against any claims arising out of my actions, conduct, or participation in the event.

4. Medical Treatment

I consent to receive medical treatment deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, or illness during participation. I release the organizers and venue from any claim arising from such treatment.

5. Physical Fitness Statement

I certify that I am physically fit to participate and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

6. Compliance with Rules

I agree to follow all event rules, safety instructions, and venue policies, and understand that failure to do so may result in removal from the event without refund.

7. Photography/Media Release

I grant permission for the use of my name, image, and likeness in photographs and video for event promotional purposes without compensation.

8. Minors (if applicable)

If the participant is under 18, this release must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to all terms on behalf of the minor.

9. Severability

If any portion of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
