Mixed Moneyball: Jan 27-29

This is our biggest Moneyball yet! 2 nights of pool play + a 3rd night for the top 8 teams to battle for the $1,000 bag. We'll also have a raffle going for each team to have a chance to win other prizes.

Your team's combined DUPR cannot exceed 10.8

Key Deets

• 16 teams. Minimum of 3 matches per team. Sideout scoring.

• Matches will not be entered into DUPR.

• We'll play with a Lifetime ball.

Cost: $55/person

Payout: $1,000 for the team ($500/person)

Giveaways: Every team will be entered to win other prizes, including court time and Lab merch!

Schedule

Pool Play: Tuesday, Jan 27 & Wednesday, Jan 28.

Your team will play only one evening — teams will be assigned to one of 4 pools once we have 16 confirmed teams.

• Pool A plays Tuesday, Jan 27 at 5pm. (Warmup at 4:30pm)

• Pool B plays Tuesday, Jan 27 at 7:30pm. (Warmup around 7pm)

• Pool C plays Wednesday, Jan 28 at 5pm. (Warmup at 4:30pm)

• Pool D plays Wednesday, Jan 29 at 7:30pm. (Warmup around 7pm)

Top 8 Bracket: Top 2 teams from each of the 4 pools will advance to bracket play on Thursday, Jan 29 at 5:30pm.

Format

Pool Play: Jan 27 and Jan 28

• 4 pools of 4 teams.

• Round robin — 3 matches per team.

• One game to 11, sideout scoring, win by 2.

• No timeouts.

Top 8 Bracket: Jan 29

• Top 2 teams from each pool.

• Quarterfinals and Semifinals: One game to 15, sideout scoring, win by 2.

• Final: Best of 3 to 11, sideout scoring, win by 2.

• 1 timeout per game.
