MIXED First Friday Money Ball

FFMB First Friday Money Ball is a monthly competitive pickleball event powered by 5 Soul Pickleball. Players compete in round robin pool play followed by single-elimination playoffs. DUPR score is required for registration, and teams exceeding the DUPR threshold will be removed from the event.

🏆 Format

• 8 Teams per Division (max)

• 2 Pools of 4 Teams

• Round Robin Play on 2 rotating courts per division

• Top 4 Teams advance to Single-Elimination Playoffs

💰 Entry & Payout

• Entry Fee: $50 per player ($100 per team)

• Payout (if 8 teams register):
  🥇 $300 to the Winning Team

• Sliding Scale (if fewer than 8 teams):

  • 7 Teams: $250 payout

  • 6 Teams: $200 payout

  • 5 Teams: $150 payout

  • 4 Teams: $100 payout

  • <4 Teams: Tournament cancelled & entry refunded

📋 Match Details

• Round Robin: Games to 11, win by 2.

• Playoffs: Best of 3 games to 11, win by 2 or 1 game to 15 if limited time.

• Tiebreakers in Pool Play:

  1. Head-to-head result

  2. Point differential

  3. Points scored

📅 Notes

• Divisions run simultaneously on separate sets of courts.

• Players guaranteed at least 3 round robin matches.

Refund Policy:

• 7+ days before start: Full refund (email powerpicklers@gmail.com to cancel).

• 3–6 days before start: Partial refund (minus admin fee).

• Within 3 days / no-show: No refund.

• Refunds processed within a reasonable timeframe.

• Extenuating circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies) reviewed case-by-case.
