Pickleland Presents: Year of the Snake Trips Cup!
Welcome to Pickleland's first Lunar New Year Trips Cup! While there will be a awesome LNY event going on at Pickleland, we wanted to also have some competitive spirit within the Club. The Year of the Snake is a time of renewal, transformation, and spiritual growth- let's find it on the courts! :) $35/45 per player (early-bird Pricing / Standard Pricing), 3 players max per team. Team captain can pay for full squad!
Payment Options:
We suggest having the team captain handle the registration. During checkout, you can either pay just your share ($35 early-bird, $45 regular) or cover the full team fee ($105 early-bird, $140 regular, the easiest option). If you choose to pay your share, you’ll receive a shareable link for your teammates to complete their registration and payment. Once that’s done, you can register your team name.
Team Composition:
Triples format: 1 woman and 2 men per team.
No individual player can be .5 higher than the combined DUPR average. 10.5 Average = 3.5 | 12.6 Average = 4.2 | 13.5 Average = 4.5
Teams can be at max .1 over the combined DUPR set for their bracket.
Match Sequence:
Men's doubles will be played first, followed by 2 Mixed doubles matches. Teams will have a coin toss before match to determine Choice of return, serve, or side OR to see opponents first mixed doubles team that they will field.
Group Stage:
Games to 11, win by 2.
All 3 games will be played, even if one team goes up 2-0 in the group stage.
Playoffs:
Top 2 teams from each pool advance to the playoffs.
Matches proceed directly to Gold and Bronze medal games.
Games to 11, win by 2. If a team wins the first 2 games, the match concludes.
Match Guarantee:
Each team is guaranteed at least 4 matches.
No refunds after February 2nd Cancelation Date!
