Teams must consist of exactly four players (two men and two women). Teams are based on their Aggregate DUPR—the combined rating of all four rostered players. The team's total combined rating cannot exceed 0.25 above the division title, and no individual player can have a rating more than 0.6 higher than the division's target average.
- DUPR 12 Division: Maximum combined team rating of 12.25 (ideal for players averaging ~3.0; maximum individual rating of 3.6).
- DUPR 14 Division: Maximum combined team rating of 14.25 (ideal for players averaging ~3.5; maximum individual rating of 4.1).
- DUPR 16 Division: Maximum combined team rating of 16.25 (ideal for players averaging ~4.0; maximum individual rating of 4.6).
Instead of traditional individual bracket play, teams compete in head-to-head matches where every rally counts.
- Four Games Per Match: Each team match consists of four doubles games played in a specific order: Women's Doubles, Men's Doubles, and two Mixed Doubles games.
- Rally Scoring: All games are played to 21 points (win by 2) using rally scoring, meaning a point is scored on every rally regardless of which team served.
- Winning the Match: A team wins the match outright by winning 3 or 4 of the doubles games.
- Tiebreaker: If the teams split the four doubles games and tie 2-2, the match goes to a Tiebreaker where the captains will select any 2 players to face off, first to 15 win by 1 (rally).
