Two days, cash on the line in every bracket. Saturday is men's and women's doubles, Sunday is mixed. This event is Leg 2 of the RGV Money Series. Players who competed in the August 29, 2026 RGV Pickle Moneyball earn a 2x points multiplier for the Money Series standings at this event. The multiplier applies per player, not per team — if only one partner on a team played in the August Moneyball, only that player receives the 2x multiplier.
Cash Smash is Leg 2 of the RGV Money Series.
Saturday, September 26 — Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles. Sunday, September 27 — Mixed Doubles.

WHAT THE WINNERS GET
GOLD — The entire bracket purse, in cash — paid the day you win. SILVER — $40 pro shop credit — no cash value. BRONZE — $20 club credit — no cash value.
Gold is not a share of the purse — gold is the purse. Win your bracket and you take every dollar of it. Gold is the only cash prize at this event.
Silver — $40 pro shop credit. Works like a $40 gift card in the RGV Pickle pro shop: applies for purchases of paddles, balls, grips, bags, apparel, accessories.
Bronze— $20 club credit. Use it on open play, court reservations, and club theme events. Not valid for tournament entries and not valid for clinics or lessons. .
Both credits are valid till Dec 31, 2026 are non-transferable, cannot be combined with other promotions, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Neither is affected by the Money Series multiplier — the multiplier applies to gold cash only.
HOW THE PURSE IS BUILT
Half of every entry fee is prize money. Here is exactly where your $50 goes: 40% into your bracket's purse, paid in full in cash to that bracket's gold medalists. 10% into the RGV Money Series Purse, which pays multiplier bonuses. The other 50% covers courts, staff, referees, balls etc.
Every bracket that runs pays gold a minimum of $100, and the purse grows with every team that enters. At the $50 early-bird rate: 4 teams = $200 collected, $100 gold cash (minimum applies). 6 teams = $300 collected, $120 gold cash. 8 teams = $400 collected, $160 gold cash. 12 teams = $600 collected, $240 gold cash. 16 teams = $800 collected, $320 gold cash.
Your bracket's exact number is calculated from what your bracket actually collected and posted the day registration closes — before a single ball is served.

THE MONEY SERIES 2× MULTIPLIER
If you entered Moneyball on August 29, your gold cash payout at Cash Smash is doubled. You did not have to medal in August — entering was enough. Your multiplier belongs to you, not your team: if you earned it and your partner did not, you collect the bonus and your partner collects the base off the same level.
The doubled portion is paid as a bonus from the RGV Money Series Purse; if bonus claims exceed the purse, every bonus is reduced by the same percentage so the purse always pays out in full.
THE MONEY SERIES PURSE
This is a separate pot of money sitting on top of every bracket purse. 10% of every entry fee at every Money Series event goes into it — including entries in brackets you are not playing in — and it pays every multiplier bonus of the season.
Enter Cash Smash and you are enrolled in Leg 2, which means a bigger multiplier at the December finale — up to 3× for players who enter all three legs.
FORMAT
Pool play into a seeded bracket at 8 or more teams. Round robin plus a final under 8 teams. Every team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches. All matches are reported to DUPR.

Warm up play one hour before tournament. Open play all tournament weekend, both days ($24–$36 value). DUPR-reported results. Spectators are free. SAVE MY PLAY - record your game and share on social media!
All visitors and players must register at front desk and sign wavers.
Entry, ratings, and divisions: A DUPR account is required to enter. All matches are reported to DUPR. Players must register in the division allowed by their current DUPR rating and may play up, but never down.
After registration closes, all entrants' current DUPR ratings are reviewed. Any player whose rating exceeds their registered division will be moved to the correct division; RGV Pickle officials may also move a player up based on observed level of play. Division changes upward are final and not refundable, and are made before brackets are published. To request a lower division, email us before registration closes — both partners must agree, and requests are granted only where DUPR reliability is below 50% or a documented injury or layoff applies. One DUPR account per player; players found with more than one account may be withdrawn without refund.
Bracket minimums: Each bracket requires a minimum of 4 teams. If a bracket is short, it will be merged with the next skill level up. If no merge is possible, and only three teams compete in the bracket the price pool will be reduced to $50 per winning team. At two teams can play but no money prizes. Winner of two gets $25 in club credit , same conditions apply as for Bronze and Silver winners none transferable, valid till Dec 31st, 11:59pm.
All fees paid are none refundable unless bracket was dissolved due to not enough teams.
Pricing: Doubles entry is priced per team, not per player. Every skill bracket within a division is the same price.

Early bird pricing ends September 11 at 11:59 PM.
Second-chance pricing ends September 19 at 11:59 PM.
Prices increase at each deadline and are never reduced afterward.
Prize money and awards: Half of every entry fee collected is prize money. 40% of each bracket's collected entry fees is that bracket's purse and is paid in full, in cash, to that bracket's gold winners, with a minimum of $100 in any bracket that runs. In doubles the gold purse is divided equally between the two partners.
Silver receives a $40 RGV Pickle pro shop credit per person (merchandise only, functions as a $40 gift card, no cash value). Bronze receives a $20 RGV Pickle club credit per person (open play, court reservations and club theme events only — not valid for tournament entries, clinics, or lessons). Both credits must be redeemed in person at RGV Pickle's physical location, valid till Dec 31, 11:59pm, 2026, non-transferable, cannot be combined with other promotions, have no cash value, and are not affected by Money Series multipliers. The remaining 10% of every entry fee is paid into the RGV Money Series Purse, from which multiplier bonuses are paid. Final bracket purses are published when registration closes. Money Series multiplier bonuses apply to gold cash payouts only and are reduced pro rata if total claims exceed the purse balance.
