Location: Urban Pickleball Club (300 San Antonio St, Austin, TX 78701).
Date: Saturday, Nov 9th, 2024
Time: 8am-2pm
Tournament Format
The 3.5 bracket will do pool play. Two pools of 3 teams each. Everyone plays each other in the pool and the top two teams of each pool will play the playoffs (semi-finals and finals).
The 4.0+ bracket will do round robin. Every team plays each other for initial seeding. Then everyone moves onto the play-offs (semi-finals and finals).
Tournament Info
We recommend the team captain signs up the team. You can pay for your share ($50) or pay for the whole team ($200 - easiest method) during checkout. If you decide to pay for your share, you'll get a shareable link for your team members to complete the registration and pay their share. After that, you can register your team name.
We recommend accounting being there from 8am till 2pm.
We will use regular scoring (to 11, win by 2). Tournament will provide balls.

1. Who can participate in the Austin Cup?
The Austin Cup is open to members of country clubs in the Austin area. This is a fun and competitive event where you’ll get the chance to play against other club members from around the city! We have members from ACC, Driftwood, Barton Creek, Onion Creek, Westwood, Westlake, Urban Pickleball Club and Balcones joining.
2. How much does it cost to enter?
Tickets are $200 per team (two men, two women). This includes participation in the tournament, access to sponsor offerings (food, drinks, and activations), and a shot at winning the coveted Austin Cup!
3. What happens if it rains?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, no worries! We’ll reschedule the event for a later date. Your registration will carry over to the new date.
4. Will there be prizes?
Yes! The winners of the tournament will take home the Austin Cup and have bragging rights for the year. Plus, there will be sponsor activations and giveaways throughout the event.
5. Is food and drink included?
Yes, our sponsors will be providing food and drinks during the event. Keep an eye out for some exciting activations!
6. What should I bring?
Bring your pickleball gear and a competitive spirit! Balls will be provided, and there will be plenty of food and drinks, so just come ready to play.
7. Can I attend as a spectator?
Absolutely! Even if you're not playing, feel free to come support your club, enjoy the food and drinks, and watch some fun, competitive pickleball.
8. What’s the format of the tournament?
The tournament will feature brackets where clubs compete against each other. We have a 3.5 and under bracket, and a 4.0 and up bracket. Every country club can have one team per bracket. Scoring is regular scoring to 11, win by 2. Games will be mens, womens, and two mixed doubles.
9. What if I'm between 3.5 and 4.0?
Play the bracket you will feel most comfortable playing, typically we recommend playing up. So if you're around 3.8, play the 4.0+ bracket.

All sales are final, and no refunds will be provided. In the event of rain or inclement weather, the tournament will be rescheduled for a later date.
