📣 League Overview
P.I.C.K.L.E. on the River (Protectors Inspiring Community Kindness, Leadership & Excellence) is a multi-week pickleball league and championship celebration honoring First Responders who embody service, leadership, and excellence both on and off the court.
On June 6th, the P.I.C.K.L.E. on the River Championship Event will be hosted at the IRSC Safety Complex. This culminating event brings together competitive pickleball, safety education, and community pride, while recognizing the winners of the P.I.C.K.L.E. on the River First Responders League.
The P.I.C.K.L.E. on the River First Responders Flex Pickleball League is a self-scheduled doubles league created for players who want organized, competitive play without fixed match times.
Designed with the demanding and unpredictable schedules of First Responders in mind, this flex-format league allows teams to coordinate their own matches at approved public courts and report scores online—offering flexibility while maintaining structure and competition.
While First Responders are the heart of this league, all players are welcome to participate and support the mission of P.I.C.K.L.E.: Protectors Inspiring Community Kindness, Leadership & Excellence.
